Many fire routines contain such words as ‘ATTACK THE FIRE IF SAFE TO DO SO’.

This could be inviting trouble, as anyone injured whilst tackling a fire may decide to sue for damages if they have not been trained.

MFS recommend such wording to be changed to ‘ATTACK THE FIRE IF SAFE, AND TRAINED TO DO SO’.
