Howler site alarms

Howler site alarms are suitable for temporary and/or larger applications. All different models offer the facility to link up to 50 units together simply using 2 core bell wire for up to 50m, and 1mm 2 core for longer distances.

9v inter-linkable smoke alarms can also be connected making the system fully automatic where necessary. The system provides a reliable and cost-effective alternative for situations where conventional mains powered system would be disproportionately expensive, especially in terms of installation time.

MULTILINK OPTION

  • Allows up to 50 units to be daisy chained together.

  • Can be further enhanced by a control panel with 4, 8, 12, 16 or 20 zones (see below).

  • 9v smoke alarms can be integrated into system

 

 

STROBE OPTION

  • Designed for a noisy environments;

  •  Ultra bright red flashing strobe;

  • Mounted on top of the Howler and can be seen through 360o;

  •  Reinforces audible warning signal.

 
   

 

BATTERY TEST OPTION

 

  •  Combines multilink option with a battery test  facility

  •  Checks battery charge under load conditions

  •  Simple key switch operation
   

 

  •  Switch illuminates to identify which unit has operated in a multilink system

  •  Designed for use with the multilink option

  •  Only activated Howler illuminates
TRACE A LIGHT OPTION

  •  Available in 4, 8, 12, 16 & 20 zone models

  •  Affected zone indicated

  •  Zones can be isolated

  •  Test mode can reset the system after individual Howlers have been tested
